When Jan decided to breed her two beautiful Shilohs Timba & Laska I made sure I was first on the list for a puppy. The day the pups were born we got the call and Jan announced that in 8 weeks she new that Guinness/Jaxx would be the pup to come home with us. Timbaland is less that 2 hours south of me so my daughter and I were there almost weekly and were so lucky to watch these pups grow and mature in their first eight weeks of life. I really have to thank Jan for allowing us to be part such a wonderful experience and when this years pups are born even though we won’t be bringing one home I am already looking forward to making that drive weekly to get to know these pups before the go to their new forever homes.
Well it turns out that Jan was right and on May 14th 2010 Jaxx came to Okotoks where he has fit seamlessly into our home. His big sisters Reign and Tryn adore him and he really has become the Little Prince.
At 21 months old Jaxx is an outstanding example of the breed with excellent conformation & noble bearing. A really stunning young Shiloh. His exceptional, intuitive intelligence, his outgoing, friendly personality, his true-hearted faithfulness personify all that a Shiloh Shepherd should be & we could not be prouder of how this boy is growing up. Jaxx is very responsive & displays a willingness to please that make him extremely easy to live with & train. Add to that his endearing & enterprising sense of humour and we really do have the perfect package. We have great expectations for our boy. Even at this early stage he already has a queue of fine young ladies lining up for him & we hope to have him contributing to the gene pool of this magnificent breed in the near future.
